I am such a lucky girl, I went to Nashville two times in 1 month for some amazing photography and learning time. The second time around, I was invited by friend and fellow awesome St. Louis Photographer Stephanie Zettl. She was co-teaching a workshop with commercial, fashion, music, wedding (etc, etc, etc
photographer Chuck Arlund. You can read up a bit on the workshop here~
Inspiration, Application and Advice, Arlund & Zettl Workshop
For all of you in St. Louis looking to learn and be inspired, they will be teaching the same workshop in St. Louis this summer, I will be sure to let you all know the details when I get them~
This workshop was a 1 day event and quite a bit smaller and more intimate than the DWF workshop earlier in the year.
My favorite part of the day was the morning seminar session where Stephanie talked about inspiration. She has definitely influenced me to dig a bit deaper when it comes to searching for my own inspirations for my photography. We spent the afternoon photographing beautiful Hollie, here are a couple of my favorites from the shoot out (a shoot out is when a group of us photo geeks get together, find some cool locations, a model, set up some lights, and go to town!)

A few photographer friends learning how to make pretty light and cool backgrounds in a seemingly strange location. Hey, we make old warehouses look good!
In addition to taking photographs, we each had our photograph taken by Stephanie. It was a great experience being on the other side of the camera! Images courtesy of Zettl Photo
I’m looking pretty good for having gotten up at 3:30am that day to make it to Nashville for the 9:30am workshop
